Mr David Burke, M.Ed, B.Ec, Grad.Dip.R.E

Founder of the Australian Enneagram Oral Tradition, David Burke is the leading researcher, teacher and writer of the Enneagram in Australia today. He established the Brisbane Enneagram project in 1994, in Brisbane, to study personality in the Australian context. He is the founding director of the Australian Institute for Enneagram Studies. Dr Margaret Buring, M.B.B.S, M.H.A

Margaret Buring graduated from Sydney University with Honours, and began a career in General Pathology and later General Practice. Margaret completed her Masters in Health Administration in 1994.

Margaret joined the Red Cross Blood Service in 1991 and became the Chief Executive Officer of the South Australian Blood Service in 1996. Margaret became Senior Medical Manager for the Queensland Blood Service in 2001.

Stimulated by a mystical experience in Canada she resigned after 12 years of full time in the Red Cross, she returned to General Practice at the beginning of 2003 to concentrate on her holistic, integrated medical practice.

In 2005 she moved to take care of the house on the Andelaine property in beautiful Natural Bridge. In addition to working at a family practice in Nerang, and providing a Visiting Medical Officer service to the Numimbah Correctional Centre, she has opened up a medical service to the local area.

Margaret has been an accredited Enneagram teacher since 2003.

Ms Rachel Weeks, LL.M, B.A/LL.B, Grad.Dip.Leg.Prac

Rachel is a lawyer who specialises in corporate, intellectual property and privacy law.

She is Special Counsel with Home Wilkinson Lowry specialising in capital raising, corporate law and compliance.

Rachel holds degrees in Modern Asian Studies and Law. She speaks both Japanese and Korean, and holds a Master of Laws from Seoul National University (South Korea), where she specialised in international copyright law.

Rachel became an accredited Enneagram teacher in 2006, and is a member of the organising committee for the 2008 conference for the International Enneagram Association. She is also involved in developing alliances with Enneagram communities in the USA, Brazil and South Korea.

Ms Katrina Stevens, M.Ed, Grad.Dip.Arts (L’ship), Dip.Fin.Planning Dip.Teach

Katrina Stevens is an experienced educator, presenter and facilitator of learning with 10 years experience in a variety of educational settings - half of those as a senior administrator in Queensland schools.

She holds a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and Management, and is a qualified Financial Planner.

Katrina has combined these interests in a diverse range of projects: from the professional development of educators and curriculum design and development in Queensland schools, to instructional design and delivery in the Financial Services Industry and the provision of strategic communication advice utilising the Enneagram framework.

Katrina has been an accredited Enneagram teacher since 2003.

Ms Angela Blanch, Qualified Chef

Angie is the director of the Institute’s meditation and contemplation programs. She has more than 10 years experience in hospitality and mental health, and has worked in some of Australia’s largest ski resorts and mountain retreats.

Angie is skilled in coordinating and managing the meditation and contemplation programs for the Institute, and has had more than 10 years experience using the Enneagram framework.

She also holds the position of Chair of Directors of the Australian Enneagram Community.

Christine Douglas

Christine Douglas is a counsellor/consultant with over 30 years experience working with families, community groups and individuals in a variety of settings and circumstances.
She became a registered Enneagram teacher in 2007, and is one of the leaders within the Enneagram community in Brisbane.

Luke Baker

Luke was born and bred in Brisbane and has been a student of the Enneagram since 1998. He first attended a panel in 1999 and has been an ‘Enneagram junkie’ ever since.  He became a certified teacher in 2007, and is actively involved in leading, facilitating and speaking at Enneagram workshops.
Luke currently resides in Tarragindi with his wife Tracy and the light of their lives - 2 year old Chloe.  Luke's favourite TV personality is George Castanza - his hero.

Tracy Lawrence-Baker

Tracy Lawrence-Baker is a clinical psychologist working in Brisbane, with over 10 years clinical experience working in particular with children.  Tracy is the mother of two-year-old Chloe, and became a registered Enneagram teacher in 2007. Tracy uses the Enneagram to not only enhance her work as a psychologist, but also as an organisational development consultant, working with government and business throughout Queensland.
